We realize that we are part of society and take our responsibility in doing so with respect for people and the environment. We also request this from our suppliers. We therefore endorse the ETI principles for human rights (see: www.ethicaltrade.org) and ensure that our suppliers do the same. In addition, we strive for sustainable solutions as far as possible.
Sustainability is in our DNA
To us, sustainability is not a way of thinking, but a matter of doing. In our company, the people factor and the environmental factor are of great importance. The objective is always a safe and efficient production, processing fair raw materials, and preventing waste to the highest possible extent. This is reflected in our operational management through highly advanced machinery, smart recycling methods for our waste, the use of clean trucks (Euro 6 standard) and close attention to the opportunities for energy saving.
For example: in our new building we use thermal energy storage, geo-thermal heating and solar energy (we have 1,082 solar panels on the roof of our warehouse, approx. the size of 2 soccer fields).
Only the best is good enough. We do not think of quality as an aim, but as a matter of course.
that is reflected in every aspect of our operational management. All of our bakeries are BRC and IFS certified.
These are quality marks that guarantee the highest possible product and manufacturing quality, as well as safe working conditions for our staff and, additionally, the provision of excellent service to our buyers. Our machinery also meets the NEN- and CEE standards, as well as our environmental licenses and usage permits.
